Due to the quaint quarters, reservations are tough to get. Our own journey to Beaches & Cream was met with anticipation and a touch of frustration as delays thwarted our initial attempt. Our second attempt, we left plenty of extra time and made it into the dining room.
As we savored a light lunch, anticipation mounted for the pièce de résistance: the legendary ice cream sundaes. While the fare may not have reached the heights of culinary excellence, the real star of the show was the customizable soft drinks, like you’d have at an old-fashioned soda fountain.
